These shafts are from a collection owned by Rusty Watson, doing business as "Rusty's Feet". We have several thousand of these shafts we are trying to sell for Rusty. Almost all of these shafts are made from Tamarack (Larch) or Port Orford Cedar and footed with Purple Heart. The Tamarack was harvested by Rusty himself when he lived in the Seattle area of Washington and was close friends of the St. Charles Family. Rusty now lives in Arizona and recently lost his spouse of 70-years. He is no longer manufacturing shafts or arrows anymore. We have these shafts on consignment from a 3rd party who is trying to raise money for Rusty's health care and livelihood.
Most of the shafts are 23/64" in diameter. There is a limited inventory of 11/32" diameter shafts, but most are 23/64". When you purchase a set of six or more, we will cut to length and tail taper to 5/16" free of charge. We can also add a small front taper to 11/32" to allow for more points to fit. Some people refer to this as a breasted taper. Please leave instructions in the comments if you would like any of these services at no extra cost.
Footed shafts are hand spined and hand weighed. Sold by the 6 pack. Sales are limited to stock on hand. Each full length shaft is at least 32" long. Choose from spines as low as 30# and up to 95#. These shafts are hand graded and hand spined and weighed to plus or minus 10 grains. Spined within a 5 pound range.
These shafts are all premium grade shafts. The hunter and utility grade shafts have all been culled out. We cannot get more of these once they are gone, so first come first served. We are hoping to sell these quickly to help Rusty out in retirement, so don't let the low price lead you to believe these are low quality shafts.
